The House Committee on People's Participation chaired by Rep. Florida Robes (Lone District, San Jose del Monte City) on Tuesday held a discussion with representatives from various diplomatic offices and international organizations for possible partnerships, programs, and opportunities in the local level, particularly in areas outside Metro Manila. The diplomatic offices and international organizations presented various programs that could bring quality jobs, better healthcare, education, infrastructure, resilience against natural disasters and conflicts, and sustainable environment. Lawmakers presented some of the immediate concerns of their respective districts and are set to tackle in the next committee hearings the processes to enable availment of opportunities and programs that are suitable to the needs of their constituents.
