The House Committee on Games and Amusements chaired by Rep. Eric Go Yap (Party-list, ACT-CIS) continued its probe Tuesday on the proliferation of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) in the country and its effects on the Filipino people, the local economy, and national security. It also acted on House Resolution No. 497 of Rep. Precious Hipolito-Castelo (2nd District, Quezon City), seeking an inquiry, in aid of legislation, on the prostitution dens catering to POGO workers to curb the presence of illegal immigrants in the country.
