Over 90 new employees of the House of Representatives, assigned in different departments, underwent on Thursday an eight-hour orientation and briefing on Secretariat operations and regulations which was conducted by the House Human Resource Management Service (HRMS). The attendees learned about the benefits and wages they are entitled to, either as contractual or permanent personnel of the House. They also learned about House qualification standards and eligibility requirements for various roles and positions in the Secretariat; employee relations; and opportunities for career and skills development. The orientation also included a briefing on the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for House employees.
