CONGRESS POLL
The debate is raging on how best to improve the country's education system to make our graduates at par and competitive with global standards of academic and technical preparedness. A leading proposal is to increase the number of years of mandatory basic education from the current 10 years of elementary and high school to 12 years (adding a year of preschool and another year of Grade 7). Do you agree that the key to improving the quality of our education and human resources is to adopt a 12-year basic education program?
